Sheikh Shack Shawarma

27 Mar 2015 | Davao City, Philippines —

I remember it well seeing their booth during a bazaar at Davao Convention and Trade Center filled with customers, patiently waiting to be accommodated. I wasn’t that eager to try it out until one day, they decided to open a shack. They serve Middle-Eastern / Persian food. Only in this place I have heard of food names like felafel / falafel (chickpea or Egyptian pea) and chelo (ground beef) which are not always available.

The serving is just enough for a meal and it comes in junior sizes too (less Php20-30), if you are not that hungry. You may add extra toppings of cheese, sauce and/or egg.

My sister’s. I don’t usually order wraps or burritos ’cause I’m a messy eater.

Beef Shawarma Rice

This yummy beef shawarma rice has big chunks of beef but if you prefer ground beef, choose chelo.
