7 Apr 2015 | Cebu City, Philippines —
Since Danny and I didn’t set foot at the real Coffee Prince Cafe in Hongdae (SK), we decided to drop by at this drama-inspired cafe in Cebu along Osmeña Boulevard.
What do they have in common?
The baristas’ uniform – white polo under a black vest and sunflower painting on the wall but could only be seen on the exterior.
Love locks could also be found at the cafe’s patio.
Stepping inside, one will notice some stuffed teddy bears sitting by the window. Most tables are low, which are common in Korean homes. We haven’t been on the second floor, they closed it since there were only few customers.
We decided to order their famous mango cheesecake, matcha frappe and strawberry smoothie.
The mango on top of the cake was almost spoiled which made us regret. We should have seen it before ordering it but we got too excited to try it. It was quite good only for the first few bites, though.
As for the matcha frappe, it was too sweet for my taste buds.
That’s it for our Cebu’s Coffee Prince Cafe experience. My next post would be about Cafe Talk Library. Please stay tuned.
Note: This is based on our honest opinion and personal experience only.
