Buffet 101

26 May 2015 | Pasay City, Philippines —

Danny has been boasting about this buffet restaurant since the first time we visited Manila. At last, on our second to the last day in the Philippines, he brought me there for lunch. But when he called for reservation the night before our lunch date, he was told to just come around 11:00-11:30am.

On the day, we started walking from Mall of Asia at around 10:40am, arrived 10 minutes before 11:00am and there were already lots of people waiting outside.

At exactly 11:15am, we were invited inside. They assigned us at the farthest seat, but near the Chinese cuisine.

So then, our buffet adventure began..

We wanted to try every dish but our stomach just wouldn’t let us. Everyone was after the salmon sashimi, shrimps and crepe.

I loved the freshly cooked shrimps, and the US prime ribs were also good and tasty. IMG_9647

Aside from the unlimited soda and juices, they also offer fruit shakes with choices of pineapple, papaya and watermelon. For dessert, there were cakes, ice cream and unfortunately, the yogurt machine was out of order. Overall, we enjoyed the food. There were lots of choices and it is a good value for money.
