Just a walking distance from our hotel, we chose a good proper brick oven pizza for dinner on our last night in my home country. Upon arriving at the resto, we were third on the waiting list and queued for over 40mins, because of a group ahead, about 15 people who was, I think, celebrating a birthday of one of their co-workers right after work. So, it is advisable to have a reservation or to come early.
While waiting, we ordered in advance their best selling smegg pizza that consists of raw egg, homemade sausage, gouda and cream. All of a sudden, it rained cats and dogs when it was about our turn to go in. All the more, the other customers didn’t have plans to go out even if they had finished eating already. Fortunately, the group offered us a table ’cause two of their friends went out ahead.
Our pizza arrived right after the staff prepared our table and she recommended to sprinkle some of their famous spicy honey sauce on the pizza. It was delicious! Every ingredient complimented each other and we enjoyed it while it was hot. But, I didn’t like the chewy and slightly charred crust edge that much.
We also took away an order of prosciutto pizza. It comprises of kesong puti (white cheese), parmesan, ham, arugula on tomato-based sauce.
More thoughts: The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and I wished they would expand their restaurant so they can accommodate more customers.
Note: This is based on our honest opinion and personal experience only.
