28 June 2015 | Seoul, South Korea —
Pet cafes aren’t unfamiliar in Seoul particularly in Hongdae, where we spotted 2 cat cafes. Also, I’ve read in some blogs about a famous dog cafe in the area. We passed by one of which was called “Cats Living”, when we were on our way to visit another cat cafe. Unfortunately, when we reached there, it has closed down already. So, we went back to Cats Living Cafe.
Before entering the cafe, one must change his or her footwear. But, it would be better to put on socks for real hygienic purpose.
Entrance fee is at KRW 8,000 (US $7) that comes with a drink and no maximum time to hang out.
Upon getting in, it wasn’t a welcoming crowd of feline. One cat refused to be touched, some were sleeping deeply and others wonder what life is like outside the four corner walls.
But, I still believe that this themed-cafe is a good reliever for stress especially to Koreans or people living in Korea with very busy lifestyle.
