Canola Festival 2016

Busan, South Korea —

Before leaving dynamic Busan, Danny and I visited Daejeo Ecological Park (대저생태공원) for its annual canola flower festival held every mid-April since year 2012.

It took us about 25 minutes to go in and find a parking spot. But, the queue was all worth it. The park, situated along Nakdong River, was filled with yellow blossoms with a stretch of 760,000 square meters. It also holds the record as the largest flower garden in the country. [SOURCE]

In Seoul, a canola festival was also held at Seorae Island near Banpo Hangang Park (반포 서래섬) a month later than Daejeo Ecological Park this year. However, we didn’t make plans to visit there.

So, here are my photos. Enjoy!

Finally! Got to try Dondurma (Turkish Ice Cream)

Address: 2314-11, Daejeo 1-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan, Korea

Direction [Subway]: Gangseo-gu Office Station (Busan Line 3) Exit 3. Walk toward Gupo Daegyo Bridge for 10 minutes.
