Memil Festival

Seoul, South Korea —

Danny and I visited Seoraeseom (반포 서래섬) two days after its Memil Festival. Memil (메밀) or buckwheat in English is the same ingredient they use to make Memil Guksu (메밀국수 / Buckwheat Noodles) and Makguksu (막국수 / Cold Buckwheat Noodles) which is the equivalent of Japanese soba noodles.

It was a bit disappointing because the flowers started to wither. But the beautiful orange sunset made our weekend excursion worth it.

After the sun had gone down, we lingered awhile and waited for the rainbow fountain show.
