Surprise

sur·prise

/sə(r)ˈprīz/ noun

  • an unexpected or astonishing event, fact, or thing.

Here’s my entry for this week’s photo challenge.

I‘m not really a plant lady nor do I have a green thumb. When I was younger, I just watered them whenever my mum asked me to. But, pruning and repotting them, I left such things to mum’s care. All I know is when leaves fall, they wither and die. Since I moved in a couple of years ago, I grew interest in succulents by taking care of my late mother-in-law’s little, green creatures. I also learned that they grow back once their leaves fall off. What a pleasant surprise, isn’t it?
