Cherry Blossom Festival

Seoul, South Korea —

Back in my elementary days when I was an otaku, I got love-struck the first time I saw raining cherry blossoms in an anime scene. Since then, it has always been my dream to visit Japan in spring when the blossoms are in full bloom.

Nevertheless, I’m still forever grateful to have witness again those snow-like covered trees in this country I call my second home since cherry blossom trees are everywhere here, even in small neighborhoods.

One of the reasons why I don’t like to live in a big and overcrowded city. The crowd was worse than we expected even tho we went after the festival date.

  1. That’s just stunning! Sadly I’ve never lived in a place that cherry blossoms were a thing. That said, this last trip to Seattle and Portland we were there when the trees were just right! They are such peaceful flowers.

  2. These pictures are so beautiful! 😭 I’ve never seen a Sakura tree in real life but I imagine the whole area smells nice (probably mistaken LOL).
